Sharing infographics on Facebook, Twitter, etc. is harder than it looks
We’ve seen plenty of people have a solid infographic with a great story, then just share a link to it on Facebook with no visual or commentary. Know what usually happens? No likes. No shares. No clicks. Ouch.
If you don’t share your sweet visual the right way online, your infographic could very well not give you the results you were looking for. We’ve shared our thoughts on posting infographics on Facebook before, but we wanted to expand it a bit.
What do you do?
Next time you post an infographic on your website, remember that you have to do a little more work than just posting it on the blog and stopping. As you know, sharing on different social media channels is definitely a great way to help spread the word about an infographic, and we’ve come across some best practices for sharing infographics on a few social media outlets. We’re not talking about best times to post or best action words, just some tips and tricks to increase your infographic’s impact as they’re a little different than a regular photo.
