“It’s the most wonderful time of the year.”
After the first Lemonly company retreat this fall, one goal established for the new year was simply to give back to our community more often. Sioux Falls is home to our headquarters and gives so much to each team member individually and as well as fantastic overall support to Lemonly as a whole.
To start, Lemonly co-founders John and Amy started thinking of a cause to give back to this holiday season. The more they talked about it, they found it almost impossible to just pick one to give to, as there were many spectacular area charities and nonprofits they knew needed help. With that, it was decided that each Lemonly HQ employee should be able to pick a charity of their choice to give $1,000 to this holiday season instead, spreading love to 12 different charities that local Lemonheads hold near and dear to their hearts.
The charities that have been chosen are as diverse as our team. We’re incredibly excited to share the organizations that are getting some Lemonly love this coming week. Starting this Sunday and continuing until Christmas Day, we’ll release the stories of the different area charities that have been chosen during our 12 Days of Giving on the blog as well as why they’re so special to Lemonly. Stay tuned to hear our first one this weekend!
