Our Lead Project Manager Amy Thorne hails from the great state of South Dakota as a Brookings native. Amy is always on the move, literally. She is a master communicator bridging the gap between clients and designers while also keeping busy after office hours with her photography business. Get to know Amy a little better and have a look at some questions we had her answer this week.

Lemon.ly--256  1. What school did you graduate from?

North Dakota State University with a double major in Marketing and Management

 2. What do you like to do in your free time?

Train for triathlons. If I’m not managing projects or editing photos, I’m usually running, biking or swimming. I love being active and being outside but I also love getting lost in a book in the back corner of a coffee shop.

 3. What is one thing about yourself that would surprise people?

I’m training for an Ironman in Coeur d’ Alene, ID which is a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and a full marathon (26.2 miles). My step brother is doing it with me and we’ll be fundraising for women’s cardiac care in memory of my mom.

4. If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?

I’m going to have to go with Bella Swan. I think everyone secretly wants to be a vampire.

5. Name something on your bucket list.

I’ve always wanted to backpack through Europe, especially Switzerland.

6. What drew you to Lemonly?

John and I have been friends since high school and when I heard about all the sweet things he was doing at Lemonly I knew I had to be a part of it. So I guess it was the great people and the openness to create.

7. Name your favorite project you’ve worked on at Lemonly.

I really enjoy working with Red Mango because we do some pretty fun, creative pieces. But creating the 9/11 Memorial interactive website was the most rewarding.

Amy is the perfect dose of go-getter mentality and refreshing personality. Our team would not be the same without her!
