Introducing Kirsten, the newest face around Lemonly HQ! This semester, she’s taking on the role of becoming our first social media intern. She’ll be helping us create and promote content across all of our Lemonly social media channels. Get to know this Omaha native and Augustana University senior in our latest Q&A session below:
What’s your favorite app?
Snapchat is definitely my favorite app! I use it all the time and I love the “My Story” feature.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Most of my free time is spent hanging out with friends but I also really enjoy art and like to paint and do crafty things.
What is one thing about yourself that would surprise people?
Besides being a soccer player since I was 4 years old, I took dance lessons for 12 years and was in almost every class…tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, and hip-hop!
If you could be any fictional character, who would you be? and why?
It would probably have to be Nancy Drew. I loved reading Nancy Drew books when I was younger and she was one of my favorite characters growing up.
What’s your favorite genre of music to work to?
I like a variety of different genres but when I’m working I usually listen to throwbacks, rap, and pop country.
Name something on your bucket list.
Travel to all 50 states and step foot in every continent.
What did you say you were going to be when you grew up?
I always said I wanted to be just like Mia Hamm and thought she was the coolest person ever. In 6th grade I did an entire project on her and even dressed up as her to present it.
What drew you to Lemonly?
The initial thing that drew me to Lemonly was the opportunity for the social media internship, which two of my professors encouraged me to apply for. I also had some background knowledge of Lemonly from the times John Meyer spoke in a few of my business classes last year. I believe they have a great culture at Lemonly and create some sweet and effective work!
Last question is always the most-anticipated at Lemonly HQ. Burritos or Pizza?
Team Burrito!
Happy to have you on board, Kirsten!
