Lemonly is an infographic design agency headquartered in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We specialize in creating infographics, animated videos, microsites, and more visual content for the world’s best brands. We’re looking for a director of account service to lead our account team and help us wow our clients with world-class service. This new Lemonhead will be a natural relationship builder, a people-centered manager, and an excellent communicator who’s excited to work with the Lemonly creative team, our leadership team, and our awesome clients. Responsibilities
Client Service
- Manage select accounts and grow key client relationships
- Lead crucial client conversations
- Provide guidance and support to account team members
- Foster organic account growth strategies individually and across the account team
- Offer sales support for inbound new business opportunities
- Understand company-wide Lemonly operational processes while developing and optimizing account team-specific processes
- Provide leadership and collaborate with others on team queue management and capacity forecasting
People Management
- Effectively manage account team members through frequent touchpoints, 1-on-1s, account team meetings, and trimester and annual reviews
- Partner with human resources for team hiring, retention, and termination needs
- Mentor and guide account team members in their personal and professional growth, especially in departmental skills of client service, budgeting and planning, project management, and relationship management
Leadership
- Provide direction for the account team and department
- Champion company initiatives within your department
- Participate in the Lemonly leadership team, including yearly goal setting, trimester rock planning as well as ownership of trimester rocks, and attendance at weekly leadership team meetings
- Work with Click Rain leadership (our sister agency) to improve cross-agency collaboration processes
- Manage the Lemonly account team budget and make recommendations around future budget needs
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure Lemonly invoices and revenue are accounted for on a monthly basis

Requirements

- You’re experienced with Google Workspace apps (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- You have a keen eye for beautiful and interesting design
- You project a confident, professional image that fosters relationships with clients and among the Lemonly team
- You’re a self-starter who can identify client and company opportunities and address them with little direction
