This year, the Lemonly website got a major facelift featuring homepage animations, a responsive layout, case studies, a restructured blog layout, and more fun and functional additions sprinkled throughout.

After doing a little research from past years and tallying up where we were so far in 2015, we were so proud to finally announce in July that our 1,000th project was finished.
On August 15th, Lemonly celebrated being a company and creating sweet visuals for four whole years!
With the launch of Humans and Resources, we set out to learn and talk about HR for a new generation of businesses. In each of our first three episodes, we interview some of the best companies in the world, ask ourselves if Lemonly’s policies are working, and talk about it all transparently on the podcast.

This summer, we gathered the team for three days of fun in a lakeside cabin at Lake Okoboji, IA. With team-building exercises and a little fun (okay a lot of fun) sprinkled in, we went over our progress in the past year and planned how to make the rest of 2015 and 2016 even better for Lemonly.

With co-founder Amy and several other Lemonheads being South Dakota State University alumni, we were incredibly proud to have Lemonly be selected as a Van Zante visiting artist. John and Amy got the opportunity to speak about the company’s journey and our team also had a month-long show at the Ritz Gallery on campus as part of the Van Zante visiting artist series. It was a great way to bring the team together to work on a few new and tangible pieces as well as show off our past work to both the Brookings and SDSU community.
This fall, we were humbled to be included in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Entrepreneur360 Index of the Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America. The E360 Index is a compilation of some very impressive and innovative companies, and it was a pleasant surprise when they reached out to include Lemonly on the list.
Thank you to Entrepreneur for the great honor and to all of our clients, partners, and mentors for getting us to where we are today.

With continued growth at Lemonly HQ, we quickly realized at the beginning of the year that we were starting to grow out of our old space. Lemonly found a new home in another great building in beautiful downtown Sioux Falls, SD, and got to rebuild the inside to fit our needs to a T. We’re still making ourselves at home at the new HQ, and we love how much we can make this space our own for years to come. Stop by and say hi sometime!
This year, the Lemonly team grew and we excitedly welcomed new baby Lemonheads as well. With three engagements and two more babies on the way, it was a year of big news for our team.

This year, we challenged ourselves to write more on our blog. Heck, we even made every Lemonly employee take a stab at writing a post for it. Know what happened? We realized we have a lot of kick-ass employees with a ton of great ideas for blog posts! Out of the 82 blog posts we wrote in 2015, here are our five most-visited posts:
